Thank you for your patience, important feedback, and not least good guidance, so that I was finally able to complete my certificate😃"
"I am totally satisfied with Focus driving school. It owns different types of new cars and utilizes all modern ways of instructions. My tutor was Stian. Technically, he is so professional and helped me with all the important skills, legal issues, and considerations. Personally, he is so friendly and tolerant. He helped me learn from my mistakes and improve my skills. So, I passed the driving test on my first try without any negative points."

FAQ
Basic traffic course, step assessment steps 2 and 3, safety course on the practice track and safety course on the road (4 parts) are mandatory. Those over 25 years of age can skip 10 of the 17 hours of basic traffic course, but must still have first aid and road safety in the dark. In addition, we want all our students to have overtaking, except for those who have a driver's license from another country.
All the parts you need for a basic traffic course to be able to start private practice driving are included in the price of 3500. For students over 25 years of age, or with a driver's license from abroad, the first aid part and road user in the dark are required.
Proof of completion of basic traffic course and identification. If we are stopped, it is the student's responsibility to show this.
Unless otherwise agreed, we will give 2 double hours (4 driving hours) in credit. This means that we will then stop driving until the outstanding amount is paid.
The average learner's driving license will cost around 35,000,-. The price depends on many factors, such as how quickly you learn, how often you have the opportunity to practice, where you practice, how you practice, what time you practice, language. Some manage to get it down to around 25,000,-, while others spend 100,000,- and even more. If your driving instructor sees that this is something that is going to take significantly longer than normal, you will be notified, so that you can make a decision for yourself whether this is something you want to spend money on.
The average takes about 40 hours. Again, this will depend on many of the same factors as in the previous questions.
Normal working hours are usually between 08:00 and 16:00. We will be as helpful as possible in finding times that suit you best, and sometimes this may mean reaching out to drive at times when people normally have time off, but we want to avoid this as much as possible. We have found that if you plan and set up hours well in advance (4-6 weeks in advance) you will be able to fulfill your desire to take driving lessons without taking too much time off from work/school.
You will generally meet at our office at Madlaveien 12. We can also pick you up at other locations by arrangement.
We use tabs.no. Here you can get a full overview of how much you owe, have paid in, etc. We can send out invoices, but then an invoice fee will be charged. We encourage payment via tabs. There are two options for payment, via vipps or online banking.
If you wish to be picked up or dropped off at a location other than our office, this must be arranged directly with the teacher well in advance of the lesson. Our teachers have often finished a lesson just before yours and need time to get to the agreed point. This will take time off your driving lesson.
Typical areas for stage 2 are Våland, Eiganes, Stokka, Storhaug and Tasta. Stage 3 includes a lot of riding in Sola, Randaberg, Sandnes, Forus, Hillevåg and the city centre. Stage 4 is longer trips down Jæren, Egersund and Oltedal.
THEORY: can be taken 6 months before turning 18. Tues-Fri 8am-1pm at the Norwegian Public Roads Administration FORUS.
It is very rare that you can do just the mandatory ones. Most of the mandatory training assumes that we are close to the level required for the driving test. In order for us to be able to see that the level is where it should be, we require at least a double hour, but very often you should calculate more than that. The average person will probably need around 20-30 regular hours outside of the mandatory ones.
The basic traffic course consists of 3 parts: 10 hours of theory, a 4-hour first aid course, and 3 hours of driving in the dark.
